Answers before you go

It all starts
with a well-planned stay.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

For campsites, check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 1 p.m. For ready-to-camp accommodations, check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at noon. If you expect to arrive after reception closes, call the campground to make arrangements, as the gate will be closed.

Can we arrive at our campsite earlier?

The campground allows arrivals from 2 p.m. at no extra charge. Earlier arrival may be possible if the campsite is available, subject to the applicable fees. Call before you arrive to check availability.

Are pets welcome?

Dogs and cats are welcome on campsites and must remain on a leash at all times. They are not allowed on the beach, in the lake, pool or splash pad. Nearby grassy areas let you relax with your pet on a leash. Among the ready-to-camp accommodations, only the Kamouk and Accessible Méga Pod accept pets: one large dog or two small dogs, for a fee. Please read your accommodation’s terms.

Is there Wi-Fi and drinking water?

Wi-Fi is free. Drinking water is available throughout the campground, and all ready-to-camp accommodations also have water.

Can we charge an electric vehicle?

A paid charging station is available at the campground. Charging an electric vehicle directly at a campsite is prohibited; please use the designated charging stations.

What should we bring to a ready-to-camp accommodation?

Ready-to-camp accommodations are fully equipped. Bring your blankets and meals. Check your chosen accommodation’s page for its detailed equipment list and terms.

What is the minimum stay for ready-to-camp accommodations?

The published terms require a minimum of two nights, three nights on holiday weekends, and five weekday nights during Québec’s construction holiday. The full ready-to-camp terms explain the booking and cancellation conditions.

What facilities are accessible to people with reduced mobility?

The campground offers accessible ready-to-camp accommodation, an accessible washroom and shower building, an access ramp at reception and the convenience store, a beach access mat, an accessible splash pad, and five sites with a concrete pad, accessible picnic table and accessible fire pit. See the amenities page and the Accessible Méga Pod page to plan your stay.

Can we kayak on the small lake?

The campground’s small lake is for swimming and is not suitable for kayaking. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are for excursions on the Shawinigan River, a separate activity.
